“Traveler, there is no road;
you make your own path as
you walk.”
The creative process is a personal journey, one that unfolds in the doing.
Only you can tell your story, launch your creative project, grow your business — but it doesn’t mean you can’t do it in good company.
I support creatives and entrepreneurs as they shape the stories that define their wellbeing, creative output, and brand growth.
In Good Company Services
-
Creative Coaching is a flexible engagement for artists, makers, creatives, and founders navigating pivotal next steps around a specific project, offering or goal.
Together, we work to hone your idea, clarify your direction, and build authentic and sustainable momentum.
-
Brand Scaffolding is a creative and strategic consultation for entrepreneurs who are looking to reenergize their brand expression.
We'll identify what's already working with your brand story — narratively, visually, experientially — and map out a strategy to align the rest, so that you can keep growing your business with confidence.
-
This is an offering to support threshold preparation; it’s for anyone stepping into a moment that feels high-stakes. It could be a presentation, a meeting, a first date, an interview or an important conversation.
Embodied Readiness is a focused session designed to work with your nervous system as much as your material, so when the time comes, you can share the fullest and most grounded version of yourself.
-
Developmental editing services are for writers who would benefit from a thought partner, more accountability built into their process, and comprehensive notes on the broad strokes.
I tend to work with writers at the stage where the first draft exists or is close to finished, and I primarily share perspective around the structure, arc, continuity, and intentions of the material.
*Note: There is limited space for Developmental Editing projects. Please reach out to discuss availability.
Hello, I’m Jamie.
I built In Good Company with myself in mind. I'm a creative who comes alive in collaboration. I thrive when I’m sharing ideas and have access to skilled outside perspective and accountability.
I work with people who have decided to invest in something important to them, whether it’s a creative endeavor, a business or their own becoming — and they understand that growth rarely happens in isolation.

About
-
I’ve spent my career moving between the creative and the strategic — coordinating for tv/film, producing spaces and special events for Airbnb, curating programs for art and music festivals, building brand and culture at the tech + design agency Work & Co, and developing philanthropic events for Williams College.
Storytelling has always been the throughline, even when the roles looked different on paper.
Along the way, I trained in positive psychology coaching, somatic therapy modalities, mindfulness-based stress reduction, and Jungian studies.
I’m fascinated by the place where they all converge: creative practice, strategic thinking, narrative, productivity, and the kind of embodied awareness that makes momentum possible.
-
My approach is less strict method than a way of paying close attention. I listen intently, draw on a varied background across the arts, brand, strategy, and somatic practice, and meet each person where they are.
I look out for your blindspots and offer support while you clarify your vision. I’m available to hold that vision and also the mechanics of getting there.

I appreciate working with people who are curious, open-minded, and serious about their goals — but don’t take themselves too seriously.
Ideally, you’ve already covered some ground — you’re a creative with a body of work or practice, an entrepreneur in-motion who wants their brand to be as considered as their product or offering.
For Embodied Readiness work, willingness is key.
"Creativity is not a solitary movement. That is its power.”

Things To Note
-
Everything shared in our sessions is confidential — whatever we discuss regarding your personal life, process and/or the creative work itself. Your manuscript, ideas, brand: they're yours, and they stay yours. We'll formalize this in a contract before we start our work together.
-
A note on scope: our work together isn't therapy. It’s creative work, so it will often touch on your inner world, but I'm not a licensed therapist, and nothing here is meant to replace mental health treatment. If you have a therapist already, this can complement that work well.
-
Our sessions are virtual, I use Zoom and Google Meet. Sessions are typically 50min in length.
-
To avoid the cancellation fee (stated in your contract), please make any cancellations or requests to reschedule 48 hours in advance.
